Our Story
In 2019, an IET Ghana certified civil engineer working in the field of construction realized the need to pursue his entrepreneurial dream professionally. This realization gave birth to Sisal Engineering and Construction.
Founded by ENGR. Moro Abdul Fatau, Sisal Engineering and Construction focuses on design and construction, and has since its existence designed a number of residential buildings and worked on countless projects as a sub-contractor.
In 2019, we began researching the new toilet system (Biofil toilet), which has become very popular in the Ghanaian sanitation industry. We identified and addressed several problems associated with the toilet, developing a design that works better than those on the market.
After further observation, Sisal Engineering and Construction developed the Sisal Underground Drainage System (SUDS) to manage domestic sewage in areas without public drainage systems and solve the problem of septic tank failures resulting from soakaway failure.

Founder & CEO
IET Ghana Certified Civil Engineer
ENGR. Moro Abdul Fatau is an IET Ghana certified civil engineer with extensive experience in the construction industry. His vision and entrepreneurial spirit led to the founding of Sisal Engineering and Construction in 2019.
Under his leadership, the company has pioneered innovative solutions in sanitation and drainage systems, trained hundreds of professionals, and completed numerous successful projects across Ghana.
Mr. Michael Cudjoe
Head of Budget, Audit and Training
Mr. Michael Cudjoe is a seasoned financial expert and investment analyst with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial advisory services. He brings extensive experience in managing investment portfolios, auditing, and training.
He has worked with reputable institutions including Strategic Hedge Capital and CALL Brokers (a subsidiary of CALL Bank), where he served as Head of SME's, Audits, and Training portfolio. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at First Capital Investment Limited.
Qualifications:
- • Bachelor Degree in Commerce - University of Cape Coast (2004)
- • Part 3 holder of the Institute of Chartered Accountant (ICA Ghana)
- • Member of Chartered Investment Banker
